PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for discriminating an abnormality in an elevator car door from an abnormality in an elevator landing door. SOLUTION: A routine 19 for signal processing and diagnosis for elevator control devices 9-12 counts a total traveling number of elevators 4-7 to landings 0-F, and a traveling number to a landing for which the number of a parameter concerning an elevator door condition or failure is prominent (excessively high or low). When the specified parameter is prominent at two or more landings, and as the ratio of the traveling number to the landing for which (a) the specified parameter is prominent to (b) the total traveling number to the landing exceeds a prescribed threshold value, this abnormality is registered as an abnormality in the car door. Otherwise, it is registered as an abnormality in the landing door in each landing where the value of the specified parameter is prominent. |
