PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connecting device capable of easily connecting a cable to a connecting counter-member. SOLUTION: This cable connecting device 14 is provided with a stud member 13 and a connector member 12. The connector member 12 is provided with a shaft 31, a sleeve 32, and a spring 55. The shaft 31 is formed with a connecting hole 40 for inserting a head part 20 of the stud member 13. The sleeve 32 is formed with a notch part 50. The sleeve 32 is freely moved between a lock position preventing the head part 20 from falling out from the connecting hole 40 and a lock release position capable of putting the head part 20 in and out the connecting hole 40. The outer circumferential surface of the shaft 31 is formed with a slit 61 along the axial direction of the shaft 31. The sleeve 32 is formed with a convex part 62. The convex part 62 and the slit 61 comprise a detent part 60 for limiting the rotation of the sleeve 32.
