PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material by which an image giving a deep impression can be formed due to enhanced sharpness (resolution) and brightness (brilliance) and whose light resistance of an image is improved. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material obtained by disposing at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, resin coated paper having a resin layer is used as the support and a layer containing at least a water-soluble polymer and ultrafine particulate titanium dioxide is interposed between the support and photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer.
