PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated group-containing urethane resin for an active energy ray-curing which gives a coating film performance excellent in flexibility, softness, surface hardness, fouling resistance, weather resistance and the like, an active energy ray-curing composition using the resin and a method for forming a resist pattern using the composition. SOLUTION: The unsaturated group-containing urethane resin is characterized by reacting (a) a specific alicyclic compound containing two hydroxy groups and an ethylenically unsaturated group in a molecule, (b) an isocyanate compound and, if necessary, (c) a polyol compound.
