PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide estimation-calculation of a fatigue data in a general fatigue test (for example, at 10-50 Hz) in a short time, based on fatigue data in ultrasonic fatigue tests (for example, at 20,000 Hz). SOLUTION: A repeated load is applied on to a metal material at a high frequency fH in the ultrasonic fatigue test to find in a short time a fatigue limitσw(fH) up to breaking, the fatigue limitσw(fH) is substituted into the correction expressionσw(fL)=(fL/fH)<α>×σw(fH), using an exponential coefficientαfound preliminarily by an experiment, to calculate the fatigue limitσw(fL) at a desired low frequency fL, and the fatigue test data is prepared thereby.
