PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce molding failure. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire having a bead apex rubber 9 extending from a bead core 5 to the outside of a radial direction in its bead 4 is disclosed. This manufacturing method includes a process for molding a tire green cover RT using an unvulcanized bead apex rubber 9R having a non-smooth uneven region 12 provided to the inner surface 9i or outer surface 9o thereof in a tire axis direction.
