Method for production of pressed ceramics for use in dental technology involves production of a muffle, insertion of the muffle in a ceramic pressing oven, heating of a ceramic pellet and pressing of a ceramic press object, whereby the temperature in the interior of the muffle is measured and when a given pressing temperature is reached the pressing process is automatically started. The invention also relates to a corresponding ceramic pressing oven, a muffle and a muffle pattern or mold.
