PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bristle for a polishing brush in which the surface polishing property of a work is more excellent than that by a conventional brush. SOLUTION: The bristle for the polishing brush is formed of a mono filament obtained by melt-spinning a composition containing 10-50 pts.wt. grinding abrasive grains in 100 pts.wt. polyester resin containing >=60 mol.% of ethylene-2,6- naphthalate unit.
