PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the display of a traffic jam indication line. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus comprises an information acquisition processing means 91 for receiving traffic jam information, a display level selection processing means 94 for selecting the display level of traffic jam based on an angle formed by the direction of the traffic jam and the direction of a destination, and a traffic jam indication line drawing processing means 95 for displaying a traffic jam indication line on a map at a selected display level. The traffic jam indication line is displayed on the map at the selected display level, thus allowing the display of the traffic jam indication line to be seen easily.
