PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat resistance and place a substance to be heated in a stable state. SOLUTION: A grate device is formed such that a plurality of grate members 11 are mounted on a dish member 10 in a state to be aligned centering an opening part with the nozzle of a burner 9 fronting on the outward through the opening part 12. Each grate member 11 is integrally formed of a metal sheet having high heat resistance, and formed approximately in a U-shape in cross section where a pair of side parts 17 are positioned respectively opposite to the two side edges of a placing part 15. A mounting part 18 consisting of a fit-in protrusion part 21 and a horizontally bent support part 22 is formed integrally with the tip part of the side part 17. Grate mounting parts 13 consisting of a plurality of positioning protrusion parts 14 and fit-in grooves 15 formed at the periphery of the protrusion part 14 are formed in a state to be aligned radially centering around an opening part 12.
