The filter is for superfine filtering of lubricant oil. The support tube (4) for the filter cartridge is of slotted plate of a metal, which is resistant to the oil and its radicals. The oil filter sealing faces have compression rings (2). The active filter mass is reduced to very small diameters by using the slotted support tube and improved filter paper (3). Filter cartridge (5) and housing are adapted in size to the oil volume to be cleaned. The device uses specially prepared oil at set volumes during an oil change.
