PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rubber roller which can stably obtain the rubber roller having a high outer diameter precision. SOLUTION: In the production method, as a method for producing the rubber elastic layer of the rubber roller having at least a metal core bar and the rubber elastic layer, a cylinder mold is brought into contact with a cylindrical tube mold at longitudinal both end parts of the tube mold, two cylinder pieces for holding the core bar are put together, a rubber material is cast at a low temperature into the cylinder pieces and heated to be vulcanized, after the completion of the vulcanization, the mold is cooled, and the rubber roller in the mold is demolded, the temperature of the mold is divided into several steps when the mold is heated from a low temperature, feedback control is done on the basis of the results of temperature measurement, and the rubber material is heated with power controlled, so that the material is molded while a continuous temperature increase history is kept always constant. |
