PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate deviation in transmission of driving force due to slipping between stretching members such as a pulley and a flat belt, and to stably transmit driving force even if a large load is applied to a driven body in a mode of an endless flat belt wound around a plurality of stretching members. SOLUTION: A plurality of rows of through-holes are formed in the advancing direction of the flat belt 1 in at least one of flat belts 1. A plurality of rows of projections 4 with which the through-holes 3 of the flat belt 1 engage in at least one of the stretching members 2 around which the flat belt 1 is wound are formed in the rotating direction of the stretching members 2. A free rotating body 5 of a coaxial and a freely rotatable in relation to the rotating axis of a stretching members 2a is arranged on at least one stretching member 2a of the stretching members 2 to which driving force is transmitted. The flat belt 1 is wound around the stretching members 2b, 2c different from the stretching member 2a on which the free rotating body 5 is arranged and adjacent to each other through the free rotating body 5 (Figure 3). In addition, the image forming apparatus using this driving force transmission device is made as the object. |
