PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium which simultaneously improves a problem of a scuff resistance and a stain resistance of an ink acceptive layer and a problem of a release from an end of an ink jet record and to provide an ink jet recorded matter. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording medium comprises an ink acceptive layer for accepting an ink supplied from an ink jet printer on one surface of a transparent or translucent support and a thermoplastic resin layer capable of being integrated with the same surface as a surface of the acceptive layer of the support by laminating the resin layer so as to be opposed to a material to be coated and thermally impressing the resin layer thereon. The ink jet recorded matter is obtained by recording on the recording medium by the ink jet printer, then opposing the recorded surface so as to become the material side to be coated, and thermally impressing, thereby integrating with the resin layer incorporated on the same surface. |
