PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium to be recorded which satisfies an opacity and a flexibility, particularly has excellent durability (a water resistance, an image storage stability, an ozone resistance and a light resistance) of a recorded image and which can obtain an ink jet record suitable for a POP advertisement or the like disposed outdoor and to provide a method for forming an image using the medium to be recorded. SOLUTION: The medium to be recorded comprises at least thermoplastic fiber and at least one ink fixing agent. The method for forming the image comprises the steps of discharging ink small droplets from micropores to the medium, adhering the ink to the medium to form the image, and then heating the medium to obtain the recording image. |
