PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator capable of rapidly supplying a coating solution to a groove between sheets, even when a sudden pressure change occurs and positively preventing the coating solution from dripping from a coating part. SOLUTION: In the applicator, for example, a writing utensil, an ink reservoir member 16 has an air groove 24a running through a plurality of sheets 24 and an ink continuity groove 38 with a smaller width (b) than the width (a) of a groove 26 between the sheets 24, 24, etc., formed in the air groove 24a. Further, the width (b) of the ink continuity groove 38 is formed (a>b>=c) so that the width (b) is the same as or larger than the width (c) of a center slit 28. Thus, assuming that the surface property is the same, the capillary tube force establishes the relationship: center slit 28 >= ink continuity channel 38 > air groove 24a. |
