PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen with such features that its presentable appearance is not impaired by a remaining thin ink film formed on the inner peripheral face of an ink reservoir pipe following the consumption of ink or the difficulty to visually determine the residual ink volume due to the formation of the remaining ink film does not occur and besides, faint writing or a writing failure on account of residual air bubbles is not seen and further, the assembling efficiency is high. SOLUTION: This ball-point pen is of such a construction that the rear end side of an ink (y) in the ink reservoir pipe 10 is filled with a high-viscosity fluid (x) and an ink follower 20 is internally added to the high-viscosity fluid (x). The ink follower 20 is shaped in the form of an almost bottomed cylinder that the flat face part 21, on the forward end center side, of the ink follower 2 and its cylindrical outer peripheral face part 22 are continuously unified by a curved part 23. In addition, between the cylindrical outer peripheral face part 22 and the inner peripheral face of the ink reservoir pipe 10, a clearance (c) with an almost specified width for the passage of the air bubbles present in the ink, is secured. |
