PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub for wheel having a shock-absorbing means inside a hub cylindrical body, and a wheel equipped with the hub for wheel which can mitigate large shocks caused by a step, improve the ride comfort and durability, eliminate any lateral twist of the wheel in the right-and-left direction, and improve the safety of the wheel. SOLUTION: The hub 10 for wheel comprises hub cylindrical body 11 and a frame shaft 20 for supporting a rotating means 26 and a shock-absorbing means 40 which are disposed within the hub cylindrical body 11, and a vehicle frame 19. An axle 21 is provided in the hub cylindrical body 11, the rotating means 26 for rotatably supporting the axle 21 is the shock-absorbing means 40 independent from the rotation of the axle 21, the shock-absorbing means 40 of the axle 21, the shock-absorbing means 40 turnably engages the rotating means 26 of the hub cylindrical body 11 by a link mechanism 30, and a frame shaft 20 which supports the vehicle frame 19 in an engaging manner is provided on the hub 10 for wheel. |
