PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinneret suitable for spinning a filament for manufacturing a carpet having a silk like luster and a soft touch. SOLUTION: This spinneret comprises a) plates having upper and lower surfaces and connected by a partitioned capillary, b) the partitioned capillary having a rectangular central slot and two radial slots and the width and the length of the rectangular central slot and each radial slot are substantially equal, and each radial slot is connected to the rectangular central slot at the opposite end making an angle of 105 deg.-165 deg. between the rectangular slot and the radial slot.
