<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic damper device of a novel structure for stably giving effective damping effects to the vibration of a steering wheel in a steering mechanism for an automobile with a telescopic steering column with a less number of mounted dynamic dampers. SOLUTION: The plurality of dynamic dampers 30 are independently provided each of which is constructed by elastically supporting a mass member 26 on a steering column or a steering wheel 12 with a spring member 28. The natural frequencies of the plurality of dynamic dampers 30a, 30b are set to exist in a region of a frequency variation range of the natural frequency of the steering wheel 12 following the expansion of the telescopic steering column 14, at both a low frequency side and a high frequency side with a median for the frequency variation range therebetween. A value for a difference between the natural frequencies of two dynamic dampers 30a, 30b set adjacent to each other is 10-40% of a value for the natural frequency of the steering wheel 12.</p> |
