PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device for reducing the degradation of the output toque of a motor during high-speed steering operation. SOLUTION: The steering control device comprises the motor 5, motor current command value generating means 100a, 100b for generating a current command value for the motor, and motor current detecting means 102a, 102b for detecting a current flowing in the motor 5, wherein the motor 5 is driven in accordance with at least the current flowing in the motor 5 and the current command value. The motor current command value generating means has correcting means 100b for correcting the current command value which allows a field system of the motor 5 to be controlled. The current command value is corrected which allows the field system of the motor 5 to be controlled when the steering speed is faster. |
