PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize condensing spot characteristic of a plurality of light beams. SOLUTION: This multibeam generating device 2, where the light beam emitted from a light beam emitting means 20 emitting the light beam is branched to a plurality of light beams by a beam branching means 24, is provided with a beam-shaping means 21 collimating the light beam emitted from the emitting means 20 and making it incident on the branching means 24. Thus, the incident angle of the light beam made incident on the branching means 24 is uniformized.
