PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard superior in capacity for blocking up clearance generated between a wall surface and a floor surface, and improving workability of execution work. SOLUTION: This baseboard 1 is composed of a baseboard body 2 fixed to the wall surface 20, and an unevenness adjusting member 3 positioned below the baseboard body 2, and fixed to the floor surface 21. A fitting projection strip 4 running in the lengthwise direction of the baseboard 1 is suspended by the under surface front end of the baseboard body 2. The fitting projection strip 4 is formed larger than the thickness of a root part in the thickness of a tip part. A fitting groove 5 fittable with the fitting projection strip 4 is arranged on an upper surface of the unevenness adjusting member 3. A cross-sectional shape of the fitting groove 5 includes a cross-sectional shape of the fitting projection strip 4. The fitting projection strip 4 is fitted to the fitting groove 5 without dropping out.
