PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material having sensor suitability in a plate making machine without the occurrence of density unevenness. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material for undergoing exposure and heat development in an online system consisting of a plotter, a heat developing machine having a preheating section, a heat developing section, a cooling section and a deodorizing device and an auto carrier for automatically conveying the heat developable photosensitive material from the plotter to the heat developing machine by connecting the plotter and the heat developing machine, is characterized in that the light absorbance (Aexp ) at the exposure wavelength before heat development is >=0.5, the light absorbance (A700nm ) at 700 nm after the heat developing is <=0.45 and the ratio (Aexp /A700 nm ) of the light absorbance at the exposure wavelength before the heat development and the light absorbance at 700 nm after the heat development is <=6 nm.
