PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is made thin and improves productivity by directly forming a transparent conductive film for a heater on a transparent substrate of a liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: A transparent conductive film 19 for a heater is formed on the inside surface of at least one transparent substrate 4 and on a non-display area where a liquid crystal conductive film 9 for driving liquid crystal is not formed.
