PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for directly, easily, and rapidly detecting oil such as lubricant and grease that is mixed into a beverage in a beverage- manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The detection method of oil which is mixed into a beverage is characterized in that an oil which is contained in liquid to be inspected is extracted with an organic solvent, and extraction liquid is analyzed by a thin- layer chromatography.
