PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement binding machine superior in the binding finish. SOLUTION: A binding wire clamp device 1 is composed of three clamp plates 2, 3, and 4 and a sleeve 5. A cam mechanism is arranged for converting a longitudinal movement of the sleeve into opening-closing motion of the left and right clamp plates. When sending out a binding wire by a binding wire feeder in a state of opening the left and right clamp plates, the binding wire is sent to a nose through between the center and right clamp plates 2 and 3, and draws a loop, and enters between the center and left clamp plates 2 and 4. The sleeve is driven for advancing, and the binding wire is gripped by closing the left and right clamp plates. Then, the rear end of the binding wire loop is cut by a binding wire cutter, and the binding wire clamp device 1 rotates, and binds the binding wire by twisting both ends of the binding wire loop. Since both ends of the binding wire are gripped and twisted differently from a conventional reinforcement binding machine, the binding wire is not wasted, and is beautifully finished.
