<p>A raising system for scaffolding, elevator cabins and the like which includes a vertical stationary beam member (14) from one side of which equally vertically spaced similar rack teeth (16) are protruding, each tooth (16) having a substantially horizontal straight top face (18). The system has a framework (26) guided for up and down movement along the beam member (14), a power driven shaft (34) rotatably supported by the framework (26) and carrying spaced radial supports (40), a series of parallel idle shafts (46) extending between the supports (40), equally spaced from one another and radially equally spaced from the driven shaft (34), and a plurality of cylindrical roller assemblies (52) rotatably mounted on the idle shafts (46) and adapted to come in successive rolling engagement with the top faces (18) of the teeth (16) during upward or downward movement of the framework (26). Each roller assembly (52) includes several rollers (56) coaxially disposed side by side.</p> |
