<p>An in-line cutting and conveying system (15) for cutting and processing a plurality of individual product portions (18) from a sheet (17) of material has an anvil roll (40) having an outer surface (41) configured to receive and support a sheet (17) of material. The system (15) also has a cutter roll (60) positioned adjacent to the anvil roll (40), and a plurality of spaced cutter cells (62) to interface with the anvil roll in use. The cutter cells (62) on the cutter roll (60) each interface against the dough and anvil roll (40) to separate and receive individual product portions (18) of the material positioned on the outer surface of the anvil roll. A transfer roll (80) is also positioned adjacent to the cutter (60) roll to receive the individual product portions (18) of material from the cutter roll (60).</p> |
