Arrangement for measuring the loading of an adjustable motor vehicle seat has a sensor element (9) that converts the force on the seat into an electrical signal. The sensor element is arranged on a seat adjusting element that is in the force flux of the force acting on the seat. The sensor is thus near the seat well of the seat support frame.
