PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection device and a visual inspection method for a mounting board, dispensing with work stop required for replacement of inspection parameters, even when a different-appearance and difference-type part of the same kind is used together. SOLUTION: In this visual inspection of the mounting board for performing prescribed inspection by optically recognizing the mounting board, when the different-appearance and different-type part of the same kind is used together, different kinds of a plurality of inspection parameters, corresponding to one kind of an electronic component are stored in a library data storage part 15; and when NG determination is given during the inspection execution time, an executive inspection parameter 9c stored in a work data storage part 9 and used at the inspection processing execution time is replaced automatically in succession, with the inspection parameters stored in the library data storage part 15 by a parameter replacement processing part 10. Hereby, inspection can be performed continuously, without stopping the work. |
