PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cap of a writing utensil, the assembling work of which is easy, in which problems such as a poor external appearance, the breakage of a stationary part or the like can be prevented from developing and the improvement of the design properties of which is contrived. SOLUTION: In the cap of the writing utensil having a structure for fixing a clip main body to the outer peripheral part of the rear part of a cap main body, the cap main body has a forward directing near U-shaped groove provided at the outer peripheral part of the rear end and an engaging part provided ahead the groove part. On the other hand, the clip main body has a near U-shaped leg part and an engaging part provided ahead the leg part and, at the same time, a clip part curved from a base connecting to the rear end of the leg part and integrally extended forwards. When the near U-shaped leg part of the clip main body is installed in the near U-shaped groove part of the cap main body, the engaging parts provided in the leg part and in the groove part engage together, resulting in allowing to fix both the engaging parts to each other. |
