摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven brake device capable of adding the function of parking brake in a simplified combination with a ball ramp mechanism without causing a complicated large-sized structure, thereby contributing toward the adaptability to a vehicle in achieving a desired confiburation as well as attaining reductions in cost. SOLUTION: In the motor-driven brake device which converts the rotational motion of the rotor 19 of a motor 11 into the rectilinear motion by a ball ramp mechanism (1st ball ramp mechanism) 12 and transmits it to the piston to produce a braking power, a 2nd ball ramp mechanism 31 and a thrust bearing 32 are provided in a prescribed arrangement in between the inside bottom of a caliper main body 7 and the rear end of a rotor 26 with the use of a rotary disk 33 in common, which rotates by the operation of a wire 13 for parking brake. The braking power for the parking brake is obtained by sticking one track race 36 to the rotor 19 and transmitting the motion of the 2nd ball ramp mechanism 31 to the piston 10 through the rotor 19 and the 1st ball ramp mechanism 12.
