PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously measure concentration of a prescribed substance contained in a substance mixture. SOLUTION: This analyzer is provided with a cell 34 for introducing various substances, a spectroscope 54 for collecting a photorecived spectrum, and a waveform processor 55 for processing the photorecieved spectrum. The processor 55 is provided with a noise component amount calculating step for calculating a noise component amount and ideal absorptivity, based on a single standard substance, an analytical curve preparing step for removing the noise component amount from the substance mixture different in a compositional ratio to prepare an analytical curve for the substance mixture by multivariate analysis, a calibration step for calibrating the noise component varied with the lapse of time, based on the standard single material and on ideal absorptivity, and a normal measurement step for calculating the concentration of the prescribed substance in the substance mixture from the substance mixture of which the composition ratio is unknown, using a calibrated noise component amount and a working curve, and for returning a processing procedure back to the calibration step in response to the lapsed time, when the concentration of the prescribed substance is calculated continuously.
