PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for realizing reduction in space of the whole apparatus by reducing an installation space corresponding to a packaging container conveyer. SOLUTION: The egg sorting and packaging apparatus comprises a storage container conveyer on an upper stage and a packaging container conveyer on a lower stage by providing the packaging container conveyer below the storage container conveyer. A transfer device takes out eggs from a storage container at a terminal end of a conveyance path of the storage container conveyer and transfers them into a packaging container waiting at a packaging conveyer waiting site of the packaging container conveyer located below the storage container conveyer.
