PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle that facilitates maintenance and a vehicle equipped with it. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a casing 2 having an evaporator 7 and a hater core 6 therein, opening parts 30, 31 are arranged on one side wall 2a of the casing 2, and the evaporator 7 and the heater core 6 can be housed into the casing 2 or taken out respectively.
