PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-out mechanism of an injection molding machine capable of preventing the damage to a movable mold and a rear plate caused by the erroneous setting of a user or accidental trouble. SOLUTION: The push-out mechanism of the injection molding machine has a fixed die plate (1) for holding a fixed mold (5), the rear plate (2) and a movable die plate (3) arranged between the fixed die plate and the rear plate so as to be able to advance and retreat to hold the movable mold and is constituted so as to utilize the movement of the movable die plate to push an extrusion plate (8) and ejector pin (9) built in the movable mold by the push-out pin (7) held to the rear plate to perform the push-out operation of the molded article. The push-out mechanism has a case (21), which allows the push-out pin 7 to pierce the rear plate (2) from the rear to hold the same and houses a spring (22) for pressing the rear end of the push-out pin to the rear surface of the rear plate, attached thereto and is provided with a sensor (24) for detecting that the push-out pin receives overload to retreat.
