PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic material wherein a structure material which is free from disorder even though used for a long period of time and a facing material are integrally formed. SOLUTION: Many bandy bamboo materials 1 are laminated in many layers so as to cross mutually in a thickness direction to constitute a thick bamboo laminated base material 2. Then, a facing material 3 which is thinner than a thickness of the bamboo laminated base material 2 and wider than a width of the bandy bamboo material 1 is arranged on both end faces in a laminating direction of the bamboo laminated base material 2, and the mutual bandy bamboo materials 1 in the laminating direction and those and the facing materials are integrated via adhesives.
