<p>A radiation detector which has a scintillator using an organic-inorganic perovskite type hybrid compound represented by a general formula: AMX3, wherein A represents R-NH3 or R'=NH2 or a mixture thereof, R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom or an amino group, R' represents a methylene group optionally substituted with a halogen atom or an amino group, X represents a halogen atom, and M represents a IVa Group metal, Eu, Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn or Pb. The scintillator exhibits a high luminous strength and also a short time constant.</p> |
