PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet propulsion boat whose speed can be detected with satisfactory accuracy in such a way that an electromagnetic log does not disturb the stability of a high-speed gliding state and whose durability is not spoiled even when the boat runs up onto a sandy beach. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic log 25 is installed at the bottom of the water jet propulsion boat 1, the lower end face 25c of the electromagnetic log 25 at the front of a hull from an electrode 26 facing the lower end face 25c is formed as a smoothly continuous face, and at least the front end 25d of the lower end face 25c of the electromagnetic log 25 does not protrude from the bottom face of the hull immediately in front of it.
