PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow plow capable of improving the stability of a vehicle body by lowering the center of gravity and providing a compact layout. SOLUTION: This snow removing machine is provided with an engine 11 mounted on the vehicle body 1, a traveling driving wheel (tire 22) driven by the engine 11, a snow scraping auger 3 arranged on the front side of the vehicle body 1, an auger clutch 31 arranged between the engine 11 and the auger 3, and a continuously variable transmission 23 arranged between the engine 11 and the traveling driving wheel 22. The engine 11 is mounted in the vehicle body 11 below the continuously variable transmission 23.
