PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is free of defects such as the peeling of a fixed part with adhesive between a liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal frame due to an unexpected force acting on FPC and the breakage of the FPC itself as a liquid crystal display device which uses FPC and a frame plate. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises the liquid crystal panel 4, the FPC 5 which is connected to the liquid crystal panel, a liquid crystal frame 1 which contains the liquid crystal panel, and frame plates 2 and 3 which clamp the liquid crystal panel 4 with the liquid crystal frame. When an unexpected force operates to draw the PFC upward in Fig. (b), a blast prevention part 2D provided to the frame plate 2 deters the part 5A of the FPC connected to the liquid crystal panel from moving up.
