PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making non-noxious treatment of wood materials for vegetation capable of preventing injury against germination and growth and development of plant from being generated even though the wood materials are used in a green state as materials for achieving vegetation. SOLUTION: The wood materials for vegetation such as chips of lumber, sawdust, wood wool and the like are brought in contact with acid fluid.
