<p>The object of this invention is to provide an airtight palette for acrylic painting, which airtightly holds acrylic paints to maintain the paints in a soft state in the palette for a desired period of time. This palette consists of a palette body (2) with a sealing lid (1). A paint-holding cell unit (4) and a color-mixing unit (5) are separately seated in the body (2). An airtight sealing means is provided at the junction of the body (2) and the lid (1) for sealing the junction to airtightly keep acrylic paints held in the palette, thus preventing a hardening of the paints. The airtight sealing means consists of hinged clamps (8) provided along the rim of the lid (1), and clamp catches (11) provided along the top edge of the body (2) at positions corresponding to the clamps (8) for catching the clamps (8), respectively.</p> |
