<p>An optical condensation sensor is provided that is capable of detecting condensation (particularly dew) adhering to a detection surface with high precision. Light emitted by a light-emitting element (2) is propagated while being subjected to total internal reflection, and light leaking out through condensation drops (5) adhering to a face of a transparent body (1) is detected by a photodetector (3). A detecting unit (6) detects the adhesion of the condensation drops (5) according to an output signal from the photodetector (3).</p> |
