PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for biochemical analysis wherein spotlike regions of a specifically combined substance are formed on a carrier at a high density, a substance originated from a marker living body is made to specifically combine with the specifically combined substance, a photostimulable phosphor layer is exposed by a radioactive marker substance, photostimulation light is detected photoelectrically and data for biochemical analysis can be generated with high resolution and with superior quantitativeness. SOLUTION: In the unit for biochemical analysis, a plurality of adsorbent striped bodies 7 are integrated with a resin 14 so as to be separated from each other, a formed block body 14 is cut into sheet shapes, and a plurality of mutually sperated adsorbent regions are formed of the plurality of adsorbent striped bodies.
