PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative plate for an exterior wall having a pattern similar to a genuine article such as a natural stone and a brick and composed of a metal material having superior feeling and texture and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This decorative plate for the exterior wall material is composed of a thin steel plate formed with joint grooves on the surface and having a surface part dividedly formed by the joint grooves. This decorative plate is characterized in that a colored substrate coating layer to be a joint color is formed on the whole surface of the thin steel plate, a sand spraying layer formed by spraying the sand is so formed as to emerge on the colored substrate coating layer, and a printed pattern layer is formed on the sand spraying layer on the surface part.
