PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a processed pigment composition which is stable and readily handleable without flocculating ultrafine particles and to provide the processed pigment composition obtained by the production method. SOLUTION: This processed pigment composition is obtained by treating water-based suspension of an organic pigment by using a nonaqueous resin in an oligomer region having fluidity at a normal temperature. This method for producing the processed pigment composition is provided.
