PURPOSE: An alarm device and a control method for horizontal incline of a vehicle is provided to warn a driver of a dangerous situation by calculating horizontal incline with yawing rate of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An alarm device for horizontal incline of a vehicle comprises a steering angle sensor(1) sensing angle of a steering wheel; a yawing sensor(3) sensing the yawing rate; a vehicle speed sensor(5) sensing a speed of the vehicle; a control unit(7) receiving a sensing signal of the steering angle sensor, the yawing sensor and the vehicle speed sensor; and a warning light(9) controlled by the control unit. The operation of the warning light protect the driver when the vehicle is over a limit size of a safe distance.
