PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail cover for a curtain rail, which can be fitted without using a tool to an exist curtain rail of a wide vertical width and an existent curtain rail hanging a curtain whose upper edge is extended along the front face lower part. SOLUTION: The rail cover (1) consists of a front plate (2) of a vertical width larger than that of the curtain rail (10), a cap (3) fitted to the lower face side of the curtain rail and supporting the right/left end parts of the front plate in the state of being slidable in right and left directions and at least one support (4) fitted to the upper face side of the curtain rail and supporting the intermediate part of the front plate. The front plate is arranged separately from the front face of the curtain rail, a front cover (8) covering the front face and upper face of the end of the curtain rail is fitted to the cap in an attachable and detachable manner, and an attachment (27) for supporting the intermediate part of the front plate is formed at the support (4) in the state of being capable of adjusting a vertical position.
